The lodge provided a relaxing hot tub experience.
The lodges were shabby and not well-maintained. Our toilets failed to flush properly, which was incredibly inconvenient. the absence of towels forced us to bring our own, and the closed restaurant meant we had to travel far for meals.

The whole story in a nutshell
A three-night family getaway was surprisingly delightful. The lodge featured a serene hot tub and essential amenities that made our stay comfortable. Proximity to Dartmoor National Park and a fun golf experience added to our memorable time, but it missed out on including WiFi. Worth a visit for a serene escape!

The two-bedroom lodge provided a warm and inviting atmosphere with essential amenities like a washing machine and dishwasher. Enjoying the luxurious hot tub was a highlight after a long day of golfing and exploring. the absence of Wi-Fi was inconvenient, and the quality of the pool table in the clubhouse was disappointing. The restaurant's initial high standard was not maintained on the second visit, which affected the overall dining experience.

The lodge was impressively clean and spacious, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hot tub made for a fantastic way to unwind at the end of the day, and the amenities like the dishwasher and washing machine were practical touches that added comfort to our stay.
The road leading to the lodge was quite bumpy and pot-holed, which could be a hassle for anyone with a low-slung car. Privacy was a bit lacking. golfers played right outside our front door, making it hard to feel secluded. there was no Wi-Fi in the lodge, which made it tricky to binge that Netflix series in the evenings. The fishing options were underwhelming, with just two small ponds that left much to be desired in terms of variety. Lastly, keep in mind that towels aren't provided, so planning ahead is necessary.
